Hét mekka voor het windsurfen. Groen lichtgevend (beetje zoemend) water, en het waait er altijd windkracht 5! Ool behoort tot de illustere groep woorden die, net als b.v. memberen het IRL gemaakt hebben: Ool! Beroemde augurken uit Ool: W14 en DD

Eind 2010 krijgt deze broedplaats van een ware tsunami aan talent de erkenning die het al jaren verdient, een heus PWA event!

Ool is a celebrated holiday destination in Southern Limburg, 10 km. south-west of Swalmen and 17 km. north-west of Roerdalen.
